KNX is not a gadget, it is infrastructure
The difference between a smart home that works reliably and a system that becomes frustrating over time is not in the logo on the switch, the app on your phone, or the number of features in the catalog. The difference lies in how the system is designed, implemented, programmed, and commissioned.
KNX is an open industry standard for home and building automation. It allows hundreds of devices from different manufacturers to be connected into a unified, stable, and long-term sustainable system, without dependence on the cloud, a single brand, or a closed ecosystem. This means the system can be upgraded, serviced, and adapted for years after installation, without the need for a complete reconstruction of the installation.
At NexHome, we don't deal with superficial solutions like "turning on a light via mobile phone." Our work begins much earlier: we plan the installation, create single-line diagrams, prepare ETS projects, select actuators based on actual load, design a stable Ubiquiti UniFi network, and provide documentation that any serious service technician will be able to understand even in ten years.
The result is a home or building that behaves predictably, safely, and logically. Blinds rise in the morning according to a scenario, air conditioning adjusts to how the space is used, evening lighting automatically dims to a comfortable level, and security and technical systems work as part of a whole.
And when something needs to be changed, expanded, or serviced, we know where to look, what to check, and how to intervene.
All services in one place
From concept to post-handover maintenance, without subcontractors who "disappear" after installation.

Every project follows the same path: status recording, conceptual design, ETS project, execution, commissioning, and documentation. No skipping steps and no improvisation on site.
• KNX lighting: DALI, 0–10V, relays, dimmers, scenes, and automatic control based on daylight.
• Air conditioning and heating: integration with VRV/VRF systems, underfloor heating, and heat pumps.
• Shading and blinds: Warema, Schüco, Somfy — all on the same bus.
• Audio and video: Sonos, Denon Heos, home cinema, HDMI distribution.
• Security: Ubiquiti UniFi Protect, Ubiquiti UniFi Access, Ajax, Dahua, access control, video intercoms.
• Network: Ubiquiti UniFi Network designed for real-world conditions with thick walls and reinforcement mesh.
